What we do
We work with organisations developing digital infrastructure, connected products and collaborative innovation programmes. Our role can range from strategic advisor and technical lead to productisation partner, consortium builder or programme delivery lead.
01
Data & Digital Infrastructure Strategy
We help organisations design the data foundations for complex digital products, platforms and programmes — from interoperability and governance to data-sharing models, metadata, APIs and data space architecture.
02
IoT, Platforms & Connected Infrastructure
We advise on IoT systems, real-time data platforms and connected infrastructure — helping organisations move from technical concept to scalable architecture, pilot deployment and commercial proposition.
03
Innovation Strategy & Commercialisation
We help organisations assess, shape and commercialise data-enabled products and services — from opportunity assessment and MVP definition to partner strategy, business cases and go-to-market pathways.
04
Collaborative R&D & Programme Leadership
We help organisations shape, fund and deliver collaborative R&D programmes — from funding strategy and call analysis to proposal development, consortium building, technical work package design and programme coordination.
Across all engagements, we combine technical depth with stakeholder engagement, facilitation and programme governance — helping complex partnerships align around credible plans and deliverable outcomes.
We bring particular experience across smart cities, energy, water, EV infrastructure, urban testbeds, connected places and digital innovation ecosystems.
Selected work
Our work sits at the intersection of data infrastructure, connected systems, collaborative R&D and real-world deployment — helping public bodies, innovation agencies and commercial partners turn complex ideas into structured, actionable initiatives.

About us
Data Undigital Ltd is a UK-registered advisory practice working across data infrastructure, IoT, connected systems and collaborative R&D. We help organisations shape technically credible programmes and create the conditions for them to be funded, adopted and delivered.
Our experience spans research labs, national innovation programmes, industrial clients, European R&D and venture development. Our advisory work is informed by first-hand founder experience: building a data platform company, developing a real-time urban data exchange into a SaaS proposition, raising early-stage funding, and navigating the realities of pilots, partnerships and commercial adoption.
We combine technical architecture, strategic programme design and stakeholder engagement — allowing us to contribute not only to the technology, but also to the partnerships, governance and delivery models around it.
